Connected Worlds
Our own server-linking system. Travel between The Frozen Reach and The Burning Coast as the same survivor, with the same gear, scars and skills.

What travels with you
You're not a fresh spawn on the other side. Everything that makes up your survivor is packed up and rebuilt on arrival.
Everything you carry
Clothes, backpack, weapons and the item in your hands, with every attachment, magazine and item packed inside. Condition, quantity and ammo counts all come with it.
Health and wounds
Health, blood, shock and damage to each body part. Bleeding, broken bones and bloody hands don't heal on the way over.
Illness comes too
Flu, cholera, food poisoning, infected wounds and other diseases travel with you. Treat them before you leave or pack the right medicine.
Hunger, thirst and warmth
Your food, water, body heat and blood type carry over. Even your beard keeps growing from where it was.
Every skill level
Your skill levels move with you, so nothing you've trained is lost on the trip. Skills only reset when you die.
Stored vehicles
Every vehicle stored in your Virtual Garage, along with its cargo and your VIP time, is waiting on the other map.
One balance, both maps
Both servers share a single bank. Deposit on one map and withdraw on the other. It never has to travel because it's already there.
Your base
Bases, tents, stashes and anything on the ground belong to the map they're on. They'll be there when you come back.
Travel checklist
- Store your vehicle. If a vehicle from your garage is out in the world, the terminal won't let you leave until you store it.
- Bring the fare. Carry the cash, or have enough in the bank, to cover the route you pick.
- Patch yourself up. Wounds and sickness come with you, and the landing point may be a long way from help.
- Pack what you'll need. Anything left in your base, a tent or on the ground stays on this map.
- Mind the weather. The other world may be a lot colder, or a lot hotter, than this one.
Landing safely
- 30 seconds of protection. You can't be hurt while you get your bearings at the landing point.
- Same spot every time. Each route lands you at a fixed point on the other map.
- Head back any time. Every world has a route home, and there's no cooldown between trips.
Your character is never in two places
There's only ever one copy of you. The system was built so that a crash, a lost connection or a server restart can't duplicate your gear or delete your survivor.
Saved before you leave
Your character is saved to the link before you're disconnected. If the save fails, you stay where you are with all your gear.
Game crashed mid-trip?
Just join the world you were travelling to. Your character is waiting for you there and is restored when you connect.
Joined the wrong world?
Your survivor lives on one map at a time. Join the other server and you'll be sent straight to wherever your character is.
Travel pauses
If the link between the servers is down, travel is blocked instead of risking your character. Both maps stay playable.
Stuck between worlds? Ask for help on Discord and staff can release your character.
